Our Acadian cottage is a beautifully constructed building, replicating a local historical dwelling. It is filled with cypress woodwork, collected over 8 years to create a warm and rustic atmosphere throughout. We are proud of this little jewel on the beautifully landscaped 100 acres of Rodere Plantation. The cottage is complete with a fully functional and equipped kitchen, which includes a large complimentary breakfast with coffee, and a stocked refrigerator with soft drinks, tea, and spring water. It includes two queen size beds, a washer, dryer, ironing accomodations, and an antique clawfoot bathtub furnished with scented soaps and bath salts. Also included are fresh flowers, plants, a television, VCR, and local telephone service. Enjoy outdoor activities such as lawn checkers, horseshoes, our wildlife habitat, a stocked pond, and wood duck nesting area. Children are welcome, smoking is permitted outside and pet accomodations.
